Hi, Why not take this off-season opportunity to attend a Safe Boating Class. I know. You've been boating for 30 years, Dad taught you everything, You're the safest boater out there, yada, yada, yada. In every class I've taught, I have a few people who say the same thing, and are absolutely amazed at the end of the course when they realize how much they DIDN'T know. There hasn't been a single person who left thinking the class was a waste of their time, or who didn't walk away with information they hadn't had before. Statistics don't lie. In every US State, 85-90% of boating accidents involve boat operators who've never had any formal boating training. In about 1/3 of the States, some form of mandatory boating education is now required, with many more to follow in the coming years. In the States that require boating education, classes are full, with long waiting lists to get a seat. Why wait until your state requires you to take one? Most are only 8-16 hours long, and some can even be taken on-line. Many are free, or with nominal fees to cover materials. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
